SNOWMOBILE

South Lake Tahoe, California

Framed by the towering peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountain range and centered around a gorgeous blue body of water, Lake Tahoe is a place of majestic beauty. Nightlife in South Lake Tahoe is created around the casinos.

Some of the most rugged and beautiful scenery in North America is just a few minutes away from South Lake Tahoe. And one of the best ways to get deep into that backcountry experience is on a guided snowmobile tour. The trailhead is in beautiful Hope Valley, at 7,200 feet elevation, just south of Lake Tahoe in Alpine County, California. The trail climbs rapidly, quickly heading deep into the backcountry. Looking west across Faith Valley, visitors see the dramatic Sierra Crest at nearly 10,000 feet.

 

SAMPLE ITINERARY

Day 1

2:00pm - 7:00pm – Most of our customers either live close and drive in, or take a flight into Reno and pick up the shuttle that drops them at one of our partner hotels or casinos in South Tahoe. Once you all get in, head over to the casino and introduce them to your friend Double Down.

8:00pm - 10:00pm – After you have lost your shirt in the first 2 hours, maybe it is a good idea to get some food in you before the wheels come completely off. We will organize a nice group dinner for the gang where toasts can be extended.

 

 Day 2

8:00am - 9:00am – get some food in you, and try to account for everybody you had at dinner last night. Our shuttle will pick you up at the hotel and drive you out to the trail head. There you will be briefed on the inner workings of your snowmobile.

10:00am - 4:00pm – Head off above Hope Valley. With hundreds of square miles of terrain to explore, no two tours are alike. Elevations range from 7,200 feet at base to peaks of 10,000 feet and above. Mix in canyons, bowls, rivers, creeks, meadows, and alpine lakes, and you’ll discover some of the most beautiful and challenging scenery in North America. The area also has some of the snowiest winters in the country.

4:00pm - 7:00pm – Once you get back to the trail head, our crew will be waiting to serve up some dinner. No rush in heading back into town, enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains and think about how cool it would be to live here all year riding ATVs in the summer and snowmobiles in the winter.

7:00pm - 9:00pm – We will drop you back at the resort where you can take a power nap and try to clean all the snow out of every crevice in your body.

9:00pm - 12:00am – Your choice on whether to relax tonight or head out to the nightlife. If you choose to hit the bars and casinos, we will make sure you head the right direction to make the most of your final night of celebration.

Day 3

10:00am – 11:00am – After breakfast, Meet the shuttle and head back home or to Reno to catch a flight back to your hometown.
